These terms govern your use of Tutorai (the "Service"), available at tutorai.tech. By using Tutorai, you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent, guardian, or teacher should review these terms with you.
The Service
Tutorai provides free, personalized practice problems and an AI tutor chat for K-12 subjects, currently focused on math. Tutorai is a study aid, not a substitute for instruction from a qualified teacher, and is not a certified or accredited educational program.
No accounts, your data stays local
Tutorai does not require sign-up. Your practice history and progress are stored only in your browser and can be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices — see the Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to submit personal information about yourself or others in the AI tutor chat.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to generate content unrelated to K-12 learning, or content that is harmful, abusive, or unlawful.
- Copy, resell, or scrape the Service for commercial purposes without permission.
AI-generated content
Practice problems, hints, worked solutions, and tutor responses are generated automatically and, occasionally, may be incomplete or contain errors. Use your own judgment, and check with a teacher or trusted adult if something seems wrong. We filter tutor responses for safety, but no filter is perfect — if you or your child sees a response that seems inappropriate, please report it using the contact details below.
Availability
Tutorai is provided free of charge, "as is," without warranty of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and features (including the AI tutor) may be limited or disabled without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tutorai and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content for academic purposes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
